The Sphinx (lion head of Pharaoh), guardian enigmatic tombs and temple, it is turned towards the east to protect the tombs of the looters. (Optional: Camel or Horse Ride at Giza). Following by Visit the necropolis of Sakkara, used as a cemetery for thousands of years, and still hides many secrets in the desert sand. The Pyramid at Sakkara is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. Visit the catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa, an ancient Roman necropolis, whose family tomb is a fine example of the fusion of art and architecture, Egyptian and Greco-Roman. You will continue with Pompey’s Pillar, a column of granite 25 feet high built in honor of the Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to the starving inhabitants. Then visit the Roman Amphitheatre, potentially the best preserved Roman site in Egypt. This site includes the ruins of a Roman street and homes. Then you will visit from outside the famous library of Alexandria. Unlike the ancient architecture found throughout Egypt, the building design is a monument to Norwegian outstanding design.
